The Titans's door

A giant tool, hammer or axe, is left by a Titan resting on the east door of the Mas-d'Agenais castle, on the interior side. This work refers both to the work of Claes Oldenburg who installs enlarged objects in public spaces: trowel, baseball bat, handsaw... and to mythological stories. Could Hercules, companion of the Romans, or Thor, god of the Vikings, fight here?
